Rebuild Your Whole Smile with Four Dental Implants
If you’ve lost multiple teeth, there’s no need to get a separate dental implant to replace each one of them. In fact, the All-on-4 procedure makes it possible to replace all of your teeth from the roots up with just four implant posts! This can be an excellent alternative to traditional dentures for patients who don’t want to have to worry about their new teeth slipping at the wrong time. How Do All-on-4 Implants Work?

The All-on-4 procedure relies on four implant posts that act as artificial tooth roots for a full denture. Each post is placed in a predetermined spot in the jaw at a specific angle. The positioning of the posts will let them join with the areas of the jaw where bone density is highest, which makes it less likely that you will need a bone grafting procedure. Thanks to the posts, the full dentures you eventually receive will enjoy improved stability and biting power.
Am I a Candidate for All-on-4 Implants?

You can likely answer “yes” to this question if you meet the following criteria:
- You need to replace most or all of the teeth in your upper and/or lower jaw.
- You are not currently suffering from gum disease or other oral health issues that could affect the success of dental implants.
- You will be able to maintain excellent oral hygiene habits once you have received your implant posts.
Note that All-on-4 doesn’t require as much bone density as other dental implant procedures. As a result, you may not even need to have bone grafting performed in order to qualify for All-on-4.
Benefits of All-on-4 Implants

All-on-4 can change your life for the better in many ways. Thanks to the bite force and chewing power provided by the implant posts, you will be able to eat virtually any kind of food again. Also, the implant posts will stimulate your jaw, which will help put a stop to bone loss (a common side effect of missing teeth). And there’s no need to worry about adopting a complex new oral hygiene routine; you’ll be able to brush your dentures like real teeth because they will be permanently fixed to the implant posts.
All-on-4 vs. Traditional Implants

Up to eight traditionally placed implant posts can potentially be required to support full dentures. All-on-4 can do the same job with half that number, and it can potentially save you time by making bone grafting unnecessary. Also, All-on-4 can often help you enjoy new teeth sooner; many patients are able to have dentures placed during the same appointment where they receive their implant posts.
